Our Care Concept
Our care concept for Solas Script revolves around the idea of a 'digital pause.' High school is constantly moving fast, and as HUMSS students, we see firsthand that our peers rarely have a dedicated space to just stop, breathe, and reset. We want to care for our users the second they open the website by immediately welcoming them into a calming environment. Instead of bombarding them with heavy information right away, the soft colors and background nature sounds act as a quick sensory breather to help lower their stress on the spot.
Beyond just helping them relax, our concept of care includes giving students the tools to actually process what they are feeling. Through features like the daily mood tracker and the digital diary, we are providing a private, quiet place for them to untangle their thoughts. Most importantly, we believe that true care means not leaving anyone to figure things out entirely on their own. By permanently anchoring the OLFU guidance facility and emergency hotlines to the site, we want to ensure that whenever a student is ready to reach out for professional help, a trusted hand is already there waiting for them.
